Pradyot Kishore Debbarma Returns Congress Party Flags, Says MLA Sudip Roy Barman

Agartala, May 15 — Former Tipra Motha leader Pradyot Kishore Debbarma visited Congress Bhavan yesterday to return party flags that had remained with him during his tenure as Pradesh Congress president. According to MLA Sudip Roy Barman, Debbarma handed over the flags outside the building without entering the premises.

Speaking to journalists today, Mr. Barman stated that Debbarma’s actions carried no political significance but were rather a gesture of respect towards the Congress leadership. He emphasized that searching for deeper political motives behind the move would be unnecessary.

Mr. Barman further remarked that many individuals associated with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), including Debbarma, have historical connections to the Congress party. As such, their association with Congress is a natural inclination.

Debbarma has yet to comment publicly on the matter.
